Being at sea is always nice regardless of the boat you are on, but sailing and owning a wooden boat is a totally different feeling, that's why this segment of the market is booming in the last few years. A wooden boat is unique, and it will maintain and sometimes increase its value during the years.

Building a wooden boat is a complex task, and we offer you our expertise during the whole process, from planning to the day you are ready to sail away. We combine the skills of traditional local workmanship with western standards to ensure that you get the best boat you ever dreamed of.

The first step is carefully planning together with the owner all the aspects of the building process, to ensure that the budget will cover all the building steps trying to avoid surprises later.

In Indonesia, the hulls are built in the traditional way, using the extremely durable Belian/KayuUlin (sp. EusideroxylonZwageri a type of Iron Wood ) up to the deck, and using other very high quality hardwoods like Teak, Merbau, Bayam, Cendrana, Selangan Batu, for deck structures and interiors.

The boats we usually are asked to build range between 25 and 40 meters on deck with two masts Schooner/Ketch gaff rigging, the interior lay out depends on the owner requirements, but the spacious hull can easy accommodate 6 to 12 guests in double cabins, crew cabins for up to 15 people and large saloons for your guests. Most of the boats we build are used in the yacht charter/dive liveaboard business, their sturdiness of construction and large interiors make them the ideal choice for the task at a fraction of the cost required to buy a similar sized western boat.

Power is provided by engines in the 300-600 hp range new or rebuild, in the latter case we do all the rebuilding process in our workshop with our own technicians to ensure years of trouble free use.
